"150 Paintings and Miles of Smiles"

2500 miles (from Paris to Pasadena), 500 lbs of luggage, 150 paintings in 4 days,  148 bottles of water,  the 72nd Artists Helping Artists blog radio show, 60 rolls of Viva,  48 muffins, 30 artists, 24 lavender macadamia nut  cookies, 15 bottles of wine, 4 hours of sleep, 3 coffee cakes, 2 Dogs, and 1 angry Eddie left in Paris.

Me with an audience–(albeit a few hecklers in the bunch, sent there by Eddie no doubt.)

The Incredible Shrinking Workshop
This is what happens when you remember to take the group photo after the workshop is over—Eddie says this would have never happened if he had been in charge. …

Lots of oohing and ahhing as the paintings are stacking up:)!!

We even got “framed” with a visit from the King of Frame himself, Randy Higbee.  Randy took orders for his famous floater frames and delivered finished frames the very next day.  What a guy!!
Great food served up to “starving” artists:))

And two special evenings of relaxed conversation for the artists!
Workshops are rich and hold so much,

They’d love to have you here in Ireland, believe me. Your southern accent is lovely to listen to. I’m sure you’d love it here, just as much as Irish painters would love having you here. Do think about it – it would be briliant if it could happen.ReplyCancel

Carrie–it was amazing! And June–I haven’t ever done in workshops in UK or Ireland–who knows what the future may bring–me and my Kentucky accent just might wind up there at some point:))!ReplyCancel

Have you ever done any workshops in the UK or Ireland? I would so love to attend one of your workshops. From the photos you’ve shared here, plus your own thoughts about it in blog posts, it sounds and looks like such a brilliant atmosphere, so creative, so positive, so full of love for what you’re all doing. And having such a brilliant, fun, enthusiastic time. I would love this. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful few days with us via these words, photos and wonderful paintings from all who were there. Brilliant!ReplyCancel
