It was an absolute pleasure spending 5 days with you and Leslie! I learned so much, and like I told you both, I wanted to rename the workshop “How Denise Got Her Groove Back!” Very inspiring, loads of information, excellent approach to doing the demos, social gatherings, and a couple of happy teachers doing bright, colorful paintings! What more could I ask for?!
I have come home with not only my usual passion for creating my art, but now I have a feeling of true pleasure in the process, which I never had before. I feel an excitement to dive in and apply all that I learned! Thank you so much for offering your time and knowledge to help other artists.ReplyCancel

How I wish so much that I could’ve been there – all that fun, all those great people, all those friendships formed, all that fantastic art, and all that food, too. Every time you post photos of all the ‘action’ taking place in your workshops, it’s just so clear and obvious how much everyone is enjoying themselves, enjoying being there, and loving expressing themselves on the canvas, with you there all making it happen so smoothly.

I’m always inspired after even only looking at the photographs (as opposed to not being there, but yearning to be) – I always want to just stop whatever I’m doing, get out my paints, my brushes, my watercolour pad, and just immerse myself in the moment, and in the journey.

Thanks, as always, for inspiring me. That painting, ‘A Little Corner of Italy’ is another of my favourites (so many favourites amongst all my favourites), and looking at it is like looking at a little corner of heaven to me. Maybe this one will also be included in your 2013 calendar?ReplyCancel

Well, let me just say that I had a fantabulous time. It was well worth the effort to attend. Both you ladies were great teachers and some of the art that I saw produced by the other students was world class.ReplyCancel
