I love this painting, Dreama, as well as your recipe for pampering, especially in the darker, colder (and wetter, here in Ireland) days of winter.

When I look at this, I’m reminded of the beautiful afternoons me and the hubby spent in Paris and Belgium years and years ago. I remember with much fondness, how warm and sunny, calm and comfy and friendly and pleasant it was being there, with a latte and a croissant…so very much like this painting expresses so beautifully.

I think I’m going to stay in this lovely cafe in this sunny little village for a while…thanks for bringing me (and the rest of us) there.ReplyCancel

Even though I don’t comment much, your paintings always inspire me. Happy New Year!!!ReplyCancel

Hey Dreama, Happy New Year! LOVE that bright orange awning with those blue shutters, and I’m imagining that the upstairs window across the way with the curtain pulled back just a bit looks out from a charming studio space. Your paintings always make me smile. And a long, hot lavender-and-pacific-breeze-scented bath sounds heavenly on these cold, cold days … looking forward to springtime along with you!ReplyCancel

Love the painting with the focal point building in the front right but that building in the back left is painted just perfectly! Great softer values and just UNdetailed enough to make it support your focal point! Edges are wonderful. Funny that caught my attention- deftly done Dreama:)ReplyCancel

Love the pampering … but … you are coming to California on a “business trip” sometime this spring to visit your daughter. No iffs, ands or buts!ReplyCancel
