“Keep Your Eye on the Ball” 8 x 8in oil on museum quality panel $400 Eddie says I don’t look near as old upside down. I think he may actually have a good point.  Gravity does have a way of doing it’s work but I am not sharing that tidbit with Mr. Ed. I simply […]

I LOVE your paintings. Especially your cats. With a lot more black it would look like my cat, Donut, who I love dearly! Do you still do the calendars? If so, I’d love to buy one. Thank, dorsie jonesReplyCancel

Thanks a bunch Sandra–Eddie is reading the comments, so I am not going to add to he’s “completely gorgeous” — Lord knows, it’s hard enough to fit his head on an 8 x 8 as it is:))

Aww poor Eddie, he’ll be torturing his poor little brain. But then maybe he’ll be happy to think he’ll have the gray cat to blame. Dreama you should also be a writer, you have creativity and energy to spare.ReplyCancel

    • Dreama Tolle Perry - October 4, 2012 - 8:45 pm

Thanks:)) And no doubt he will loose a bit of sleep over it–which means for him that he may get only 15 hours instead of his usual 16;)ReplyCancel

  • Roseanne Campagna - September 27, 2012 - 12:30 pm

I think Cleo has been taking notes from Eddie’s recommendations. Included is – when not ‘chillaxin’, be sure to walk very slowly in front of anyone that is in a hurry to get somewhere. This is to prevent any excitability that could interrupt the next ‘chillaxin’ moment. You know, when it’s time to just flop over in mid-stride presenting the tummy for a scratch.ReplyCancel

You are so right Roseanne! There were too many to include, but they were all along the lines of the one you just mentioned;)) Cleo sounds like she is really taking the homework to heart….ReplyCancel

Eddie Bill is truly one handsome and charming fellow. This painting of him chillaxin’ with the sunlight to help the process along just makes me wanna chillax, too. Pity there’s no sunshine here at the moment…but looking at this painting brightens even the greyest of Irish days. Beautiful painting, of a beautiful cat (yes, Eddie – praise given where praise is due). Thanks for sharing him with us in this portrait of him.ReplyCancel

A very intense looking Eddie in this one. Like he’s genuinely studying the arrangement. I love the gentle blues and purples in this sweet bouquet. Beautiful – you’ve such a gorgeous way with colours. Sometimes when looking at your paintings, after loving the composition and the theme, it’s the colours that always beckon me to linger longer, to drink them all in. Bellisimo!

Two more sleeps till Italia! Are you all packed? Is Eddie pouting yet?ReplyCancel

“The Softer Side of Ed” 12 x 12in oil on museum quality panel $600 Well, no one is more surprised than me.  Eddie Bill has taken up flower arranging. Says he wants to “get in touch” with his feminine side…. Say What?? My personal thoughts on this? Well, it could be a legitimate interest. He […]

Awwww…you kinda have to feel a wee bit sorry for poor Eddie Bill, though. It’s no fun to feel stressed out…especially by a mini-me, lol.

Much as I love reading about Big Ed’s (and Little Ed’s) antics and shenanigans, I also love getting to know the softer side of him, as you’ve so beautifully captured and expressed in this gentle portrait of him. I love how you’ve painted the sunlight beaming through the window, and falling gently onto the flowers (ohhhhh….and the colours of those flowers….ohhhhh….so delicate and vivid simultaneously). In this painting, you can actually sense Eddie Bill becoming calmer and mellower just by being near the flowers).

Thanks for this, Dreama. I love it. And I love Eddie Bill, too.
