The thing about immersion is it can only mean one thing.  You are actually in the present moment!  You aren’t multi-tasking, your mind isn’t racing ahead to where you need to be next and you are not handling yesterday’s conversations in your mind.

You are front and center for YOUR LIFE.
Which is where, curiously enough, all the magic happens 😉

Today I was immersed in cooking and baking with apples from our orchard – chunky applesauce and apple pie dusted with cinnamon and sugar. I would post a picture, if I could. Still waiting for the pie to cool so we can eat it. Although I’m not able to join you in Italy at this time, I always enjoy your posts. Thank you!ReplyCancel

Hi Dreama, while I have always wanted to take one of your journeys, alas it just isn’t in the cards for me right now yet I always follow your adventures. I immerse myself in my pottery classes right here at home. Strictly a novice, I find myself transported for 3-5 hours one day a week at my classes. And every time I look at one of my pieces, I am filled with wonder that I created that as it reminds me of how tranquil I felt when making it.
Thank you for all your posts.ReplyCancel

    Hi Dreama,
Entering this course is certainly one of the best treats I ever gave myself!
Cooking and photography are some of the things I love doing, and spending time outdoors taking pictures of flowers is when I immerse myself, forgetting about everything…. just focusing on the beauty of creation, the purity of nature.
Kind regards, looking forward to the rest of your talks!

    Dreama,
I have taken the time to paint every day while here in Frisanco, Italy. You might say I have been totally immersed in my work. I have compared previous paintings I’ve done while visiting this village to what I am accomplishing now. It is an 80% turn around!!!! Thanks to you and your wonderful teachings on just being happy with yourself and letting the real you immerse!!! Not allowing fear in your life and being confident with each stroke you produce. I never thought I would become an artist with any skill, but now I am finding each painting I do, so much fun and exciting with my own kind of flare.
I will be enrolling in your new course from Italy. Can’t wait. Keep up the great paintings and work. You are the best ever!!!
    Love you,
    Katherine DozzoReplyCancel

Really beautiful and inspiring, thank you.ReplyCancel

I have long been a fan of the BIG PICTURE, the sweeping view, the epiphany!

Perhaps its not one big pivotal moment that forever sets us on the right path but JUST MAYBE it’s a series of tiny clues that fall into place and build the road to the life we are meant to live.

ps – J’adore this beautiful painting! I want to walk down that beautiful little lane, and walk right into that cafe on the left, with its very welcoming sign to greet me.

I miss France (and Italy) so very much…but your paintings help me reminisce all the happy moments I spent in both beautiful places. All that colour…all that warmth…all that joy…and yes, all those roses in France. 🙂ReplyCancel

Sending you lots of love, lots of hugs, and lots of ‘signs’ and ‘water’ along the way as you run and reach the finish line of your creative marathon. And there’s plenty more of that, whenever you need it, as you get to the home stretch.

Yes, Dreama – for me, YOU are the one who makes what you so beautifully create look so easy and effortless. And I know why that is – it’s because you absolutely love what you do, and feel such great inner and outer joy while you’re expressing yourself, either with colour or with words. 🙂

Sending you lots of love – that’s me and my FOUR boys (with the newest member of the family arriving this evening).ReplyCancel
