Crossing T’s and Dotting I’s

There’s one thing that keeps coming to me when working on something that I feel inspired to do (I should probably tattoo this on my forehead…)

When inspiration appears, and you say yes,
get ready to let some things go.

I just felt you get choked on what you were drinking!  Sputter, sputter.  I know!
It’s obvious once you put it into words.

Inspiration will not wait while you cross every ‘t’ and dot every ‘i’ of your life. You’re gonna need to let some stuff go in order to be in service to the BIG IDEA.

It isn’t all going to get done.
You knew that already, though.

The T’s and the I’s that we are spending so much precious time crossing and dotting are probably not going to matter much when it’s all said and done.

The inspiration will.

Dreama, I’m learning that my inspiration comes when I’m actually DOING my art. Then I tell myself not to let household chores or other activities distract me from this wonderful opportunity.
