“Be my guest.”
Are those words music to the ears or what?
It denotes all sorts of things.  Especially when used in conjunction at a hotel.  In Italy.
I have my own set of definitions for the “be my guest” phrase. It includes things like–
“Be my guest” (Don’t make the bed)
“Be my guest” (Don’t do laundry)
“Be my guest” (Have breakfast in your room)
“Be my guest (Have breakfast in your room in bed)
“Be my guest” (Have breakfast in your room in bed after sleeping half the day away)
“Be my guest” ( Have breakfast in your room in bed after sleeping half the day away because you are reading a great novel)
“Be my guest” (Have breakfast in your room in bed after sleeping half the day away because you are reading a great novel about this phenomenal woman having this amazing time in Italy)

“Be my guest” (To finish this story however you want.  A hotel, you and Italy– and nothin’ but time on your hands:))

Note:  Don’t ever tell Eddie to “be your guest”.  He has his own definition.  And no, you probably don’t want to know–trust me on this one.
