"Joy in the Morning" SOLD

“Joy in the Morning”
12 x 12in oil on museum quality panel
Mornings are special.  Whether it be  rainy, snowy, or sunshine filled– with dew glistening on cobwebs spun.
It is that hush, that first blush, of a singular precious moment —that moment before the day itself is up and running away with us.

Mornings are truly a treasure, given anew, day after day.  A sacred time for us to remember who we are.

When we stop and partake of that JOY in the morning, we will find it surrounding us the rest of the day:))
May your morning and your day be filled with

For me, it has been a case of double joy in the morning…for when I read your post today over my morning cuppa and scone (the weather was cool enough to bake some scones this morning, so I treated myself and the hubby), not only did this beautiful painting greet me and put a sunny smile on my face, but when I read down to the end of the post (and I always read everything you write, all the way down to the end, because from top to bottom, all your words are gem-like), I first did a double take, then an audible ‘ohhhh’ could be heard, and an even bigger smile than the one just seconds before upon enjoying the painting, came upon me, my face, to the point where I got a wee bit emotional (in a good way, I mean!).

Thank you so very, very much, wonderful Dreama, for your beautiful words, your generosity, your loving spirit and big heart.

I am chuffed beyond words (or at least, more than my words can express adequately at how chuffed I am). It was an absolute delight and pleasure for me to make that mandala for you, and I am even more chuffed by knowing that it is keeping you company in your studio, and it brings me so much joy to know that you’re enjoying it – when I’m making the mandalas or the crosses, as well as the kitchen plaques, I feel that ‘follow my bliss’ feeling come over me so strong – it’s such an exquisite feeling, but a hundred-fold moreso when someone who has something that I created brings them joy, as well.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful, joyful and life-affirming painting and these beautiful words with all of us – you have such a beautiful way with words. I have most definitely experiened much joy this morning, doubly so, thanks to you.

ps – do you think I’d fit in one of your larger suitcases when you go to Italy? Next to France, Italy is one of my favourite places in the world. Especially Venezia – but all of it is, as is France, so lush and so luscious to all the senses. I look forward to reading about your experiences there, the sights and sounds (and tastes!), your thoughts and paintings in your upcoming Italian blog posts (and postcards, too!).

Thanks, too, to everyone who has stopped by my blog for a wee visit. You’re most welcome there.

With lots of love, Dreama, mo chara, and thanks for all your support, kindness, generosity and encouragement on my own creative journey. – June

ps – please forgive me, everyone, for rabbitting on and on (and on and on!)
