During the Creative Process

Now That’s Just Childish…and Perfect!

Swing open your heart to JOY in this day

It really changes the view!!

Doors are made

For hanging wide

to allow the WONDER to enter in 🙂

Look in all the places

that your childish heart takes DELIGHT in!

Breathe in LOVE

Let all else
Drift away 😉

Your life is something opaque, not transparent, as long as you look at it in an ordinary human way.

But if you hold it up against the light of God’s goodness, it shines and turns transparent, radiant and bright.

And then you ask yourself in amazement:

Is this really my own life I see before me?

~Albert Schweitzer

Thank you for the light you shine into my life and those around you.

You are

An extraordinary gift.

P.S.  I am now in Westford, MA—just outside of Boston, to teach a couple of workshops.     Believe it or not, the photos above came from the yard of the place  where I’m staying….I have been swinging on the swing and can’t wipe the grin off my face.  It’s good to feel like a kid inside:)
Today might be a good day for you to do something childish.

Drink hot chocolate from a very tiny teacup, color in a coloring book with new crayons….or go find a swing!!  If you do—share it —I’d love to know!

If I had my life to live over, I would start barefoot earlier in the spring and stay that way later in the fall.

I had this urge for a vanilla ice cream cone – with multi-coloured sprinkles and chocolate sauce on top of it…and I got it from an ice cream truck that had a long line of little girls and boys waiting for their ice cream treats. I felt like a little kid, right along with them, to the point when they began giggling over that first lick of their ice cream, I found myself doing the same – giggling over how good that first lick tasted on a very unseasonably warm and beautiful autumnal afternoon.
It may be a cliche, but it’s so very true – it’s about quality, not quantity. The number of times you go ’round the sun doesn’t matter…it’s what you do with those journeys that truly and only matters. It felt lovely feeling like and acting child-like.
Thanks for reminding me how lovely a feeling that is, Dreama. 🙂
I’m sure everyone had a brilliant time at the Westford workshop. Share the fun and the photos soon! 🙂
