“And that’s how you play dead.  Only  a skilled  actor such as myself can pull this off”.
And there’s Phyllis, hanging onto every word….Even writing it all down.  I am sure Eddie has sold her on the idea of writing his biography….all nine of them.
I have tried getting Phyllis off by herself, but the glazed look in her eyes tells me whatever I have to say about Eddie is falling on deaf mouse ears.

I am wondering what life Eddie is on, I mean, if something was to happen to him, accidentally of course, would he come back here, to my house, again??  Just wonderin’…

P.S.  This is No. 5 in this series.  Don’t tell Eddie, but when I went back into my studio after completing it, it made me laugh out loud.  Eddie is so silly–even more so when he is trying to be dramatic…

Meridee and I had a great time unwrapping ‘One Down, Eight to Go’.
It’s like Christmas came early, you cram so many goodies into the box.
By the time we get to take out the painting we’re almost exhausted from all the other goodies to look at!
Thanks for such a terrific painting!
I’ve already caught Meridee making strange coo-ing noises when she looks at Eddie on her way past…ReplyCancel

This one is lovely Dreama. I like the composition and you captured Eddie’s playfulness.

Funny Dreama! That Scamp sure knows how to make a few bucks. We should all learn a couple of his marketing techniques. And you captured it so well!ReplyCancel

Wonderful piece, love the colors and Eddie’s fur. Can’t image Eddie not showing back up at your house. After all, where else who he get his portrait painted so often?ReplyCancel
