Rest

Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.   ~Lao Tzu

Rest is not idleness,
and to lie sometimes on the grass
under trees on a summer’s day,
listening to the murmur of the water,
or watching the clouds float across the sky
is by no means a waste of time.

~J. Lubbuck

Adopt the pace of nature.
Her secret is patience.

~Emerson

Just completed my first workshop with Dreama. Ahhhh what a visual and spiritual treat. Great lessons learned, incredible inspiration and a general feeling of accomplishment. There is hope for me yet! Thanks Dreama for a magical three days filled with laughter, wisdom and joy.

This is so very much what I’ve been feeling, and what I needed to read today. I’ve been in ‘rest’ mode…and feeling guilty for feeling that way! After reading this, and acknowledging and accepting and respecting that ‘rest’ is important, rest is vital, rest is all a part of the ‘pace of nature,’ I’m feeling a lot better.
And along with the meditative words and musings is this beautiful painting. I ‘rest’ my eyes on it, and in it, and I am restored…and that too has the root word ‘rest’ inside of it. 🙂
    Thanks for this, Dreama.
