I love listening to music while painting. I have an ipod that shuffles the music so sometimes it makes for some funny combos, however, the moving part for me is the diversity and abundance of beauty in music. Everything is so vast in styles, words, movements….it gives me courage in painting. A present reminder of all the tastes, all the beauty, there is room for ALL of us on this great big planet. Diversity is so exquisitely beautiful. Be it in music, vocals, writing, painting, sculpting, you name it. So my co-creators for today’s piece would be Andrea Bocelli, Sting, the Agape choir, Michael Buble‘, Ron Browning, the Gypsy Kings, Pavarotti + Bryan Adams (now that’s a duo!), Annie Lennox, Bill Briggs, David Gray, Christoper Cross, Amy Kanner, and others…..

Someone many years ago told me to never give up painting because it comes from a place beyond the ordinary. Today, celebrate your creativity–it is the divine thread that connects us all.

Music is like balm for a hurting heart. It reaches down and will lift up the one who needs encouragement.ReplyCancel

Beautiful work. My favourite colours: red and pink together. They are so emoting!ReplyCancel
