It’s hard to explain what happens when standing in the middle of a field of lavender.
It is mother Nature at her best.
Awhirl with lavender scent and hum of bees it eases the mind into a whole new place:))
This field in France had the added element of simply lying in….France.
Hidden magic all around:)!!
It is one thing to rest the body
It is another to rest the mind.
A stilled mind rests the body
A rested body cannot still the mind
It is more important to seek that which stills the mind for by doing so, both mind and body are at rest 🙂
How can the mind be stilled?
“Look at a tree, a flower, a plant.
Let your awareness rest upon it.
How still they are, how deeply rooted in Being.
Allow Nature to teach you stillness.”
May this day be filled with abundant rest for your soul:))))!
In Other (Dramatic and Late-Breaking) News 🙂
I had a feeling it was going to happen. The June 2014 “Paint France with Dreama” invites went out Saturday morning and… apparently there are lots of people who are as crazy about the idea of eating chocolate and painting France as I am:))
It filled up in a matter of hours.
I had some pretty sad folks on my hands who happened to have gotten to their inboxes too late to go.
Being the nut that I am, I have worked it out that I have to stay in France and teach a second workshop.
(I know you are feeling way sad for me now;)
This coming Saturday morning, July 27th, at 9:00 AM EST (that’s 6 AM for you west coasters!)
the invitation for “Paint France with Dreama/ July 6-16, 2014 is going to go out.
All the details are the same, just a new date and a second chance for anyone who wanted to go and missed the first one for whatever reason (cat ate your computer, child getting married, slept in late, totally forgot it was THE day;))
If you were not on the original send list and want to have an invite, just drop an email to info@DreamaTollePerry.com and I’ll make sure Eddie adds your name :))
Picture yourself next summer in France!
