Spring Break

Spring is in the air…can you feel it??
Hmmm, me neither!!!  After an crazy warm March last year, this March has turned out to be CRAZY COLD!
So…..I took an unexpected, uncalled for, unplanned , HIGHLY enjoyed —–SPRING BREAK!
I took rides in the country and window shopped in Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee.

I went to a concert and sat 4 rows from Adam Levine of Maroon 5 gettin’ down with “Moves Like Jagger”…..

I snuggled ferociously with Eddie Bill and have the cat hair on my clothes to prove it:))
I read stuff from my man, Seth Godin, on Fomo, joy, jealousy and the lizard…stuff like..”The only place joy can be found is right here and right now. Everyone who is selling you dissatisfaction is working for their own selfish ends.”
I soaked in the artful displays at Anthropology…

I ate plenty of things that I shouldn’t have which means I am now down to one pair of pants…my black “fat” pants.  (Two pairs of pants if one counts my pajama jeans;)
I started a great new book, Daring Greatly, by Dr. Bene Brown, that starts with Theodore Roosevelt’s quote….”It is not the critic who counts: not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles or where the doer of deeds could have done better.
The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly, who errs and comes up short again and again, because there is no effort without error or shortcoming, but who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, who spends himself for a worthy cause; who, at the best, knows, in the end, the triumph of high achievement, and who, at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat.”
I contemplated….bumper stickers;)

I juiced (yep, Me and Jack LaLane)!
I read my first screenplay…ever…by Ann Baldwin and loved it!
I went shopping with my 86 year old mother.  (She is barely 5 feet tall and I  swear to you, I think she deliberately hides behind the clothes racks in Macy’s so I can’t find her….she ’bout wore me out!!)
I schemed about doing a makeover on my office area to match my studio.

I watched silly videos sent to me from folks as silly as me (thanks Sarah!)…and laughed my butt off;)

In short, I have been shamelessly wasteful with my time.
Absolutely nothing to show for it.
Admittedly I am one loser, slacker, fluff ball of the very highest order.
One loser, slacker, fluff ball with tight pants who can’t wipe the contented grin off her face:))

    Spring break? Hi Dreama, I’ve spent the last 10 days house and dog sitting for an old friend so he and his daughter could join family vacationing in the
    Dominican Republic, meaning, I am looking after three boxers, a cat, and one of my own dogs, while my ex looks after my other two dogs. I need a break!

  4. Lavender makes me happy…lavender fields fill me with joy! You asked so I will tell what I have been up to….my friend and I snow shoed to the top of Triple Chair on Pico Mtn. and booty-sledded down. Great quad workout going up and great ab workout going down.
