Before the Creative Process

Step into JOY

Dig deep into your soul
Harvest the seed planted there
For each of us were given a measure

To be that one
Whose living
Brings JOY

overflowing
without measure
unimaginable

To light
The JOY of love
The JOY of hope
The JOY of peace
The JOY of beauty
The JOY of giving
The JOY of receiving
The JOY of laughter
The JOY of JOY

Your mission for the day?
Spread JOY 🙂

P.S.  I’m heading to California  for the next month to teach, visit with my daughter, catch up with old friends and make some new ones.  Meanwhile Eddie is being left in charge in Kentucky.  This means that the Eds (both Pierre and Bill) along with Maggie the Brown dog will be in charge of Halloween/Trick or Treat at my house.

To say I’m concerned would be a gross understatement.

So enjoyed your style of painting. I call it “Broken Glass” in a positive delightful way.
Workshops way too short. Keep spreading the joy of painting.

    Very inspirational!

I also am drawn to all the color – it’s what I’m all about too. Thanks for your postings.

Beautifully expressed thoughts, words and colours, all blended with heart-filled cups of joy and love.
I love the gentleness of this painting…there is colour – vibrant colour, but there is also so much calm, so much serenity.
The first words of your beautiful post today reminded me of a wonderful title of a book – more like a journal, which made me love it even more – by May Sarton, entitled ‘Plant Dreaming Deep.’
It also brings to mind that wonderful expression, ‘bloom where you are planted.’
Thank you for this beautiful post, Dreama, and don’t worry about the Eds and Maggie. All will be well upon your return. Have a great time in California and at all the workshops you and all the artists will be enjoying there.
And Happy Hallowe’en, a couple of days early. 🙂
