THE GREAT GRATITUDE ADVENTURE/ DAY NINE/ MEDITATION

Silent writing
Silent words
Keyboard clicking
Leaving tracks and tales told
of Gratitude Deep
Days laced with abundance
full hearts
eyes brimmed with beauty
still morning air that takes one’s breath away
gentle hum of sunrise
a gift of a day
all held in silent observation
by the mind which is never silent
but on this morning
quietly places
these holy thoughts
onto page because
they simply cannot remain inside
silent
or unspoken

Of your soul

Music is one of the things that does that for me.  Sharpen your eyes as to what does this for you and then be sure to include it in your diet:))

Artist Michael Dowdle has been with me many times in my studio, connecting me back to my Source via his wonderful compositions.  The song played here is one of my favorites.

Congratulations Kathleen!  Just click here to send me your address:))

It is my delight to share things that I love—like the sweet acoustic renderings of guitarist Michael Dowdle.

To that end, tomorrow’s  Gratitude Gift is the Michael Dowdle CD, A Brighter Day (which includes the above song, In a Quiet Place)

What are you grateful for today?

Leave your comment on this blog  to share the JOY and get your name in for tomorrow’s Gratitude Gift (which also puts your name in for the big drawing at the end of the month:)

All of the comments for November thus far (about 1500 and counting) have been so beautiful to read!  I use random.org to select the winner each day—there is no way I could choose one based on merit–they are all so tender, disarming and gracious.  Thanks to each one of you for sharing–you are enriching so many others who may not be able speak up at the moment.  I hope you are beginning to feel the warmth of so much gratitude expressed!

My gratitude goes to my darling “hubby” Eddie whose kindness, gentleness, courage and love sustain me each and every day. He has taught me what a “real” man is and it is so much better than I have ever known before him. Now, in the face of Parkinson’s he wins my admiration for being the bravest person I have ever known. I love you Eddie Romey, thanks for being in my life.

  2. Susan

  39. June

What a stunningly beautiful piece of music you and Michael have shared with us, Dreama. Thank you so much for this. It instantly put me in a state of gentle calm and serenity, even before I went out for my morning walk. Which is what I am grateful for today (and every day, really) – my quiet, meditative walks in the country air (very cold and brisk but very fresh air), up towards the Ox Mountains, in the early morning. This quiet time is so important to me – it allows not only time to think, but time to reflect, time to dream, time to breathe, time to imagine, and such precious time to be inspired by and connect with nature in all her magnificent beauty and wonder.
