The Romance of Paris
Falling in love happens in a moment, with a touch, one lingering glance at a time. Paris has that effect on one.
I quickly realized that after this

That I simply couldn’t convey the entire love story.
I’d just have to make a movie 😉

Thank you so very very very much, Dreama, for taking us all along with you on this beautiful and wonderful French holiday. I needed this holiday so very much – every post, every postcard, every watercolour sketch, every photo, every video, and all your words made me smile and brought me so much joy.
I’d love the scarf, yes, especially as it’s from you and it’s from beautiful Paris.
What I’m reminded of most whenever I think of France is the beautiful few days my hubby and I spent there, quite a few years ago now…walking along the Seine, having chocolat and croissants and coffee in a very old cafe near our hotel, trying our best to speak French wherever we went (and the locals looking like they were enjoying our attempts but being polite enough not to laugh or roll their eyes while we were doing that), enjoying a leisurely lunch of a framage baguette and coffee while sitting on a park bench at the Champs Elysees seeing and ‘chatting with’ many cats and kittens (loved that!) and I also remember humming the beautiful ‘Down in the Seine’ and ‘A Paris Match’ by The Style Council to myself more than once or twice while we were there.
Thank you again, Dreama, for bringing us along with you. I enjoyed every moment.
It fills my soul every time I envision Paris. There is nothing else like it!
Bon jour Dreama, thanks so much for sharing your journeys with us! It’s been awesome!! That scarf is beautiful, and I’m wondering how I missed it while I was in Paris a couple of months ago! I didn’t find any art inspired scarves and would certainly enjoy wearing it! It’s beautiful!

When I think of Paris I think about how much I want to go back! The first time I was only 19 and was only there a day. Hoping to return!
I am going to miss France, I feel as if I’m coming home from your workshop too!

I feel like I’ve expieranced a little bit of Paris thanks to you. Today,August 9th is my birthday. I would love to have a beautiful “SCARF” for my 72nd birthday. I would paint with it draped around my neck and dream of where it came from.
Each picture was better than the one before, and the video was the creme de la creme. I thought I loved NYC, now there is this new love…ah, the fickle heart.

I just dream of Paris and being there with my paints and easel in a pale blue/lilac French artists frock and beret with a bottle of red wine and the smell of Gitane cigarettes in the air, to get into the role of famous artist! Hmn, Dream on!!!
Oh, Dreama! You have captured the very essence of Paris. I was there two years ago, and you have made me desperate to return!!!!

This summer our family has been through a terribly difficult experience of losing a young nephew. One of the few things that would allow me a mental break and that I looked forward to, was receiving your emails, reading your blog, and admiring your new masterpiece. Thank you.

The Eiffel Tower always comes first, but the flower lined streets, shuttered windows with flowers, and the peaceful cafe-lined streets is what most often comes to mind . . . . . sigh . . . . oh Paris!

What do you like best about Paris, the pastries or the lavender???? Hard question to answer. Have been to Paris and a couple of surrounding towns, those pastry shops just about jumped out on the sidewalk and grabbed me!!

PARIS makes me think of romance, good food but most of Art! I am an artist, I love the impressionists, and Paris is the center as far as I am concerned.
I had never been interested in Paris or France until I saw your video. I had no idea that Paris itself was a work of art! What a gorgeous city! You are a lucky cat (say hi to the Eddies!) to have that experience!
