Tiny Joys and the Mind

Keep This in Mind

It doesn’t cost one cent to build a castle
….in the mind.

To take the day and drive the coastal highway
….in the mind.

Have lunch with a departed loved one
….in the mind.

See yourself dancing like a pro by the light of the moon
….in the mind.

A world and beyond of possibility taking place just under the scalp.

Awe, wonder and magic
Waiting for you

In the mind.

So where will you allow your mind to take you today??
🙂

it could be the trip of a lifetime
and here’s the best part

You get to choose.

So glad you enjoyed a bit of France in Holland. I must try it out sometime. Mostly I am overjoyed that I tried out your workshop in Holland. You are a master teacher. Thanks to you and your methods I have so much more confidence in painting oils. I am determined to paint more. Hugs to you and Ron from Miss Susie.

I’ve been an oil painter for many years but when I found your web site I thought to myself, how does she do that. I love your use of the high key colors, lush brushstrokes and gloriously impressionistic rendering. Would love to take a workshop with you, but alas, I live in Spokane, WA which is a world away and traveling very far is an obstacle.

Hi Dreama!!!! I love your post today! When I was little I wanted to be an astronaut. To be able to see God’s creation from the quietness and stillness above all the chaos down here is so desirable to me. I often imagine myself up in space just peaceful and quietly gazing upon the beauty of the earth – yet away from the busyness and stress that bustles and distracts below. Today I shall be that astronaut! It’s like painting… you have to step back and look at it from afar to be able to really see it. Miss you! Hope all is well! xoxo Jobi
