Undone

Undone in body.
Undone in mind.
Undone in spirit.
Simply, undone.

It is a word usually matched to a falling apart—-as in someone came completely undone.
They blew up and went to pieces—-the strength to hold it together having fled the scene.

I’m here to tell you coming undone is a gift—-one to never be avoided.
Undone and flying apart can tear down defenses built up over long years of living.

Our inner parts are open to seeing day LIGHT.
Our naked, tender selves have broken the confines of living inward in darkness and fear.
Our knowing inner self has finally arrived at the “I’m mad as heck and I’m not gonna take it anymore” threshold.

The pressure to grow, to be in the light and produce the gift shoves apart walls of indifference and disappointments.
We, in effect, become undone.

Coming undone when seen from afar seems pretty scary and is never something we welcome with open arms.

Why are we so afraid of coming UNDONE?
What are our fears surrounding such an event?

Do we fear never being the same again?
That we would become someone that even we can’t recognize?
Or worse yet—-that those we have been seeking approval from would take the first exit ramp right out of our lives?
We tend, as humans, to always be looking down the barrel of the worst case scenario—-forgetting that the same elements that cause a bullet to be propelled can also create dazzling fireworks 🙂

Undone.

Just picture it.
No longer predictable or calculated.
Life unraveled, hands and heart wide open.
What a sight we would look like!

Undone.
For all the world to see.
Yep, there she is—-just look at her.
  She came UNDONE.

She couldn’t live like she had been—-confined, narrow thinking, and over processing every piece of info that came her way.

Folks who’ve come undone tend to…

Leave behind carefully crafted lives, scheduled day by day.
They do unthinkable things.
Dear god, they take CHANCES and RISKS.
THEY Do THiNGS WIThOUT KNoWING WhAT THe OUTCoME WILL Be!!!

Are they freaking crazy or what??

Well maybe.
Crazy can be good.
 And maybe,
just maybe,
they are out doing themselves.
Yes, I said out doing themselves.
That sneaky undoing has a way of becoming a world of outdoing ourselves.

Doing more than seemed possible BEFORE the great UNDOING.

Seeing more.
Loving more.
Spending more.
Caring more.
Creating more.
Living more.
Giving more.

Outdoing even the highest dreams we ever held for ourselves.

Undone.
Totally on the way to outdoing ourselves.

Thank you, Dreama – not only for this beautiful painting, but for your thoughts and these powerful words and the real and true definition of coming ‘undone.’

Until now, and until reading this, in all honesty, I never looked at that word as anything other than in a negative way.

But I can see now, and I understand now, that yes, you’re absolutely, positively (emphasis on the word positive) right – coming ‘undone’ is truly a gift. A gift we can give to ourselves.

Two gifts for the ‘price’ of one: the other one, as you’ve so beautifully expressed, is to go out there, undone, and go out doing..doing more, live more, love more, laugh more.

This is one of the most important posts I’ve ever read.

    Beautiful. Absolutely beauty-filled.ReplyCancel

so appropriate with mercurial Gemini hanging in the moon tides…for the Higher to communicate with the lower realms on the dreams, ideas that hit home, casa, nest et al…Vatican included!!!I laugh out loud, when I opened internet to see words of the heart that so defines the times we are living in…so intriguing and yet, I can hardly wait for the opportunities to lean in more in this “undoneness”…TY, Dreama! <3ReplyCancel

That was an amazing post Dreama. Was that Eddy yet again? I’m trying to decide as to how undone I can be and how much my knowing self of I’m mad as heck and im not going to take it any more is undoing me! For me I read an amazing sequence of thoughts and potential. Thank you for those emotional words.ReplyCancel

Your gifts are unraveling the thoughts of many. What a delight and treat to read that it is okay to be undone. Perhaps that dandelion pushing up out of the sidewalk crack has more to say to us in its unfolding than a whole field of posies.ReplyCancel

    Thanks Dreama
It takes something Big or a lot of little Big stuff to come undone and then to understand what to do with the ” She’s come undone!”
I think I’m there now, ready to create more, ready to live more, ready to give more. Thank you I needed to hear that today!ReplyCancel

I am going to really ponder this post today. I think your spirit wrote it to include much more than each of us as individuals souls. I see your message more universally; one that includes our country, other countries, our government and leaders, and our beloved planet. Much seems undone and in need of love. Thank you Dreama from your Undone Follower.ReplyCancel
