Feb 26 – 28, 2013 (3 day oil painting workshop) FULL
LOCATION: RENAISSANCE GALLERY
One South Range Line Road
Carmel, IN 46032
This workshop takes place in the beautiful Renaissance Gallery space and is hosted by a fun-loving red-headed artist name Kathleen who just happens to own the gallery too:)! It is an amazing space for us to spread out and paint our butts off:)
Three days packed full of incredible paint along demos, jam session paint-arounds, and one on one easel time. Learn the beauty of using transparent oils to achieve luminosity in your work (say good-by to muddy colors!) and the secrets to achieving juicy color and lush brush work in your paintings. Learn to be fully engaged in the moment and to create your own momentum for turning out great art when you’re back in your home studio. Also, for those of you who are environmentally sensitive, this workshop is a designated turpentine free environment:))!
The workshop hours are 9:30 to 4 each day with a break for lunch from 12-1. There’s a nice selection of restaurants within walking distance. Renaissance Gallery is in the heart of the Carmel Art and Design District, so lots of beauty to take in on your lunch walk:)!
