I love it when poetry comes to life–as it does on every corner in France:)!

And speaking of France and Paris and Paris, Kentucky specifically…here are some highlights from the just completed Paris Workshop II!  Artists from Canada to Florida, Wisconsin to Louisiana, and many points in between– came to hang out with me in my hometown—and to paint a little bit:))!

First day’s paintings—look at all that gorgeous color:)!
So many wonderful artists who were so supportive of each other–one of the many things I love about a workshop.  Artists encouraging, sharing, and cheering each other on:)!
Below is a taste of the musical easels–always fun and always enlightening:))!
Nancy, Barbara, Joshua, Monica, Paula, Arleen, Carolyn, Phyllis, Jennifer, Mary, Louise, Julie, Maria, Nana, Pat, Debbie, Kathy and Robin—thanks for bringing your joy and talent to Paris!!
Big Hugs from me to you:)))
And here’s a little video from both Paris Workshops:))!

I just found you on DailyPainters.com, and I don’t want to leave your site. AND the fact that your “about me” says that you are self taught gives me such encouragement. I am a new fan of your beautiful work!ReplyCancel

This painting is poetry written with many beautiful, vivid colours. So alive and happy, like those potted plants soaking up all the sunshine sitting on that soulful stone wall.

Looking at all those smiling, happy faces in your workshops put an instant smile on my face, too (although I’d be smiling even moreso if I could’ve been at either one of them). Your workshops, like your art, always bring out the very best in people’s creativity and spirits.

I love the song that accompanies the vid – is that your sister Rhonda? Reminds me of The Style Council so much – love it!

Thanks for sharing another beautiful memory of France with us today.ReplyCancel
