"In a Quiet Place"

“In A Quiet Place”
12 x 12in oil on museum quality panel

Have you ever gulped in the air, cool and moist, of spring? It is so alive as to be felt to the very core.

I place myself in these trees, planted long ago on a hillside in Italy and see my new shoes of green grass appearing and feel the breeze tenderly shake my leaves.

It is

A quiet place.

This painting rode in on the quiet breeze of Michael’s song below. Close your eyes and enter in.

There is a gift for you today–the very breath of life. Tip the glass back and drink long and deep.

It is the sweet breath of inspiration

Well, I didn’t get to this one until Tuesday, but what a blessing! Both the music and the painting … exquisite! I agree with Kelley: one of my all-time favorites. (Right up there with anything featuring Eddie!) My husband also is a talented guitarist, and there’s nothing I like better than to be painting to the sounds of his “noodling around,” as he calls it, in the next room.ReplyCancel

The guitar music is so soothing and beautiful! The perfect accompaniment to your gorgous painting. The colors are amazing. Love both!ReplyCancel

Just listening to this beautiful music and letting my eyes roam your painting brought prickles of tears – why? The beauty of both!!! I have that exact guitar. Haven’t picked it up in 15 years. I could never do what he does!
Dreama – this may be my all-time favorite painting of yours! Thank you for posting it!ReplyCancel

Ahh Kelley–thank *you* for sharing your experience. I love how everything
connects us all together–that each of us by doing what we are designed to
do, uplifts the other. I can’t play guitar at all–however, I don’t need
too with people like Michael around exercising their gift! Thank you so
much for your kind words on the painting too–we are lucky to be able to do
    what we do girlfriend.ReplyCancel
