"Oh!" SOLD

8 x 8in oil on museum quality panel

Many things can elicit that “Oh!” response.
The magical time when evening envelopes day and street lights begin to glow…Oh!

Places so divine that our mind immediately responds with its own remembered romance…..Oh!

The unexpected glimpse of starry nights sprinkled with falling stars….Oh!

Oh is our moment of awe.  Our moment of delight.

Today I had at least two “Oh” moments:))

I will share one with you.

It was the discovery of a heavenly new scent.

Appropriately named….

“Oh (Lola!)”

P.S.  What the heck, I probably should not leave you hanging on what the second “Oh!” was about.  It was an Oh moment of another variety.

Remember me mentioning to you about getting some new water based oil colors to try out?  Got all the colors laid out, proceeded to paint…..then realized….ahem….I HAD FORGOTTEN TO ORDER WHITE PAINT.

I have 2 dogs and an African Grey, so there’s an ‘Oh’ moment almost daily! Like when the bird decides to remove the right arrow key from my keyboard??!!

Your work is wonderful, your writing always provides a smile (are you secretly practicing stand-up comedy at these workshops?)and the world is a better place because you share so much with us!ReplyCancel

This is definitely an ‘Oh!’ painting, as in ‘Oh – such beautiful, vibrant colours!’ and ‘Oh! Great composition and great activity!’ and ‘Oh! How I wish I could go to one of your oh-so-wonderful workshops!’

Another ‘Oh!’ from me is that I just wanted to add this, to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day today, and it goes out to you, Eddie, Phyllis, your hubby and all the people who read and love your blog:
