Dreama, your workshop attendees are obviously having fun. But — couldn’t possibly have had as much fun or learned as much as I did in your Atlanta workshop.

Thank you for your help — and please know how much we all appreciate AHA.

Any painting where you can bring out the cadmium red is a good one. What a beautiful painting Dreama, so much energy in those brushstrokes. Your personality really comes through.
Looks like you had lots of fun in the workshop, didn’t realize it was ladies only though 🙂

I’m reading through your digital book at the moment and I’m loving it, great advice.
Say hi to Eddy for me,

    Best wishes,

I’m probably going to sound like a broken (Pavarotti or Andreas Bocelli) record, but I love this painting, Dreama! Love it! Love the vibrancy – say yes to red! Love the composition. And I love that cafe. Maybe it’s a flat converted into a guest house/B&B upstairs. I’d love to book a room there…

When I look at the cafe, I am imagining myself there, asking what’s on the menu for today’s lunch. My very lovely (young and handsome) waiter has just told me that the specials for today are Fritto Misto Mare and Scampi alla Lombarda, with cold red pepper antipasto to start with. And of course, a lovely bottle of house red.

Oh yes! And for dessert, either pastiggio di frutta or Mont Blanc (which we did have at a trattoria in Burano years ago – the first one is a fruity sort of flan and the second one is simply roasted chestnuts with sugar and cream sauce).

There’s room at my table for a few friends…care to join me?

Thanks for sharing this, Dreama. And to all the artists who also conjured up this lovely outdoor cafe scene. I love these workshops – even if just to look, ia the photos, at how much everyone is enjoying themselves and expressing themselves so beautifully.

    Bellisimo! And bravo, too!ReplyCancel
