12 x 12in oil on museum quality panel

So here’s the thing.

It’s been a realllllly full year.  By end of next month I will have spent 130 days traveling/teaching/eating gelato away from home.
I only mention this because…..well, because of some memory gaps.

I named the painting above, signed it on the back and placed it’s name on the certificate of authenticity, sold it at the workshop and now can’t remember it’s name.

It’s little face is sitting in my computer file with TBA on it.
To Be Announced….
once I find the piece of paper I wrote it on.
I wish that was the end of it but there’s more.
I have another painting for the next post that is…ahem, on the TBA list as well.

(You understand I am blaming this on anything and everything other than age, memory being the first thing to go yada yada…. 😉 )

Which leads me to my next debacle.  I actually completed the second workshop in MA and forgot to do a group shot of the amazing paintings they did.

This I am going to blame on certain students.  You know who you are.  This group was even more mischievous than the last in spite of their demure photo below.

Honestly, now that I really look at the photo you CAN actually see how sneaky and mischievous they are.

Lucille, Linda, Carol, Linda, Susan, Christine, Cathy, Rosanne, Beth, Mary, Denise, Anika, Heather, Margaret, Laurie, Monique, and Judith!

I had one stand up comedienne who read  a collection of quotes from me that she had written down during the workshop and added “under the covers” to each one.  These were painting tips mind you—all I can do is wag my head…

I had two that broke out in spontaneous dance to “Moves Like Jagger” during the musical easels portion.  Since what happens at the workshops stays at the workshops I am sharing Adam Levine performing the original 😉  (Just picture some movin’ and shakin’ happening at the easels and you’re there)

Laurie G. Miller was in this class again (yes, she was the one responsible for the Dreama faces at the prior one) which made me understandably nervous as to what she might be up too.

There were those who asked questions they wanted to know but inserted other class members names as in “Margaret was wanting to know….”

In short, this group ate up my last few remaining brain cells.

I did however end up with a very awesome mermaid necklace and a sea glass expedition for putting up with them :-).

In spite of the mayhem I did get a few shots on my camera of some of the wonderful creations of the artists in this workshop.

It was beautiful time to be in Massachusetts surrounded by such spirited and talented painters!

Calendar time is almost here!  My 2014 Calendar will be available for pre-order this Saturday, October 25.

June—you would fit right in. I have a feeling an Irish girl could show us a few new moves on the dance floor ;-)!ReplyCancel

Giggling and smiling as I read this blog post, Dreama. I think I’d be up for bopping around during ‘musical easels’ with the other ‘mischievous students’ too, had I been there. Sounds like a fantabulous version of (art) girls’ night (day) in.

Whatever you’ve actually entitled this painting, I have to say that, it actually is ‘TBA’ – as in ‘Totally Beautiful Art.ReplyCancel

I love the TBD painting!!!! Such a lovely window! And classes sound like a blast!! Can’t wait to meet you, Dreama! As well as my fellow classmates! Is champagne allowed?? I’ve already bought my supplies (way too early, I know) but I think we might need a little toast at some point! 🙂 Let us know when you find the name of that beautiful new painting! xoxoReplyCancel

Kelley! I love having Margaret again (met her in CA originally) and loved meeting Linda—just a good time all around. And you surely do live in a beautiful part of the world. Great people and beautiful countryside. One of these days I’m gonna make it to the island 😉ReplyCancel
