“The Fragrance of France”
12 x 12in oil on museum quality panel

France is the kind of place that envelopes you and surrounds you in a luscious manner—just like a favorite scent….a place of timeless romance that touches chords in us that we didn’t even know existed—-until we breathed into it!

Some things are worth repeating…

“A man should hear a little music,
read a little poetry,
and see a fine picture every day of his life,

in order that worldly cares
may not obliterate
the sense of the beautiful

which God has implanted in the human soul.”
~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

So here’s a little music…

If video doesn’t appear, just click here to play:))

And a little poetry….

“I want to sing like the birds sing,

not worrying about who hears

or what they think.”

P.S.  When I am not here writing, I miss you dear friend… you must always know I hold you in love and high esteem:))

Im loving the online class, although I’ve had a slow start! I’m hoping one day to paint in Italy and France with Dreama’s workshop! You are an inspirational teacher! Thank you!ReplyCancel

    Hi Dreama,

I am in your first class! I had so much fun yesterday, painting our second subject. I don’t know if it’s to be kept secret, so I won’t say what it is. ;D After I completed the painting, I was excited about the results, which looked loose and the brush strokes showed through. I have never painted with your technique before. I love it and hope, eventually, it just comes naturally.
I love, love, love your paintings and inspirational writings. You are like a favorite character in a good book that you don’t want to end.
    All the best,

What a way to start the morning and start yor new adventure in January.
I wish you had announced the last day of December so I wouldn’t be so anxious!
I just cannot think of anything else! Painting with Dreama while looking at my wonderful lake and drinking my own coffee…. Just can’t get much better than that!ReplyCancel
