Looking for Inspiration

My life is largely  based in inspiration.  Finding it, cultivating it, sharing it.

There is so much to be grateful for.  So much good in life— when one has that much good, what else is there to do but share it!

For the next 30 days there will be a drawing here on this blog.   All  you  need to do to have your name in the hat  is  share your thoughts.
Just simply leave a comment on the inspirational post for that day sharing one thing you are grateful for in your life.

That’s it!

There are three things that will happen.
  1. Your name will be in the drawing for the gift of the day (something new each day)
  2. Each day that you leave a comment, it also puts your name in the hat for the big Gratitude Adventure drawing on Nov. 30 (30 comments = 30 chances to win on the last day’s drawing)
  3. The best part??  By the time you share 30 things in 30 days  you will be bursting with inspiration, creativity, peace and JOY–which really makes you the biggest winner of all:))
So What Happens on November 30th??

  • All the names from all the comments for all the days of the month of November will be put in one giant hat to draw a winner out for…for……well, I am going to reserve that information ’til later but it’s extra nice and I think you’re gonna be pretty excited:)))
It is after all, an Adventure— can’t tell you everything:)!

  • At the end of the month I will have something for each of you.  Yes, each of you:))
Each day, a new inspirational writing will appear here on this site.  At the end of the 30 Day Gratitude Adventure, these writings will be available in one collection for you to download, share, giveaway, tuck inside your journal–as many ways as you can  use them to help inspire yourself and/or someone else–it’s my gift to you!

So leave a comment on this post with the first thing that comes to mind that you are awesomely grateful for:)) Not sure how to leave a comment??  You can click here to see how:))

I am looking forward to hearing about the one thing you are  grateful for today.

Gratitude Gift/ Day One   is my journal notebook pictured below, perfect for writing down your inspirations:))

Gratitude Adventure Winner Number 1 announced tomorrow!!

P.S.    Who do you know that could use some inspiration?  Please share this with them (forwarding and/or using the Facebook like button are both great ways to do just that:)

One this first post of “things I am grateful for” I will have to say it is for my husband of 37 years. He is so supportive and is my cheerleader making me believe that I can do all things. I have grown so much as a person due to his love. As it was once said in a movie “he makes me want to be a better person”. This is what I am most grateful for this morning.ReplyCancel

I am grateful for all the people who have been in my life, good and bad, because they are the ones who have made me who I am today. Of course there are those who I am eternally grateful for, and cannot imagine ever having been without, but that would make this more than only one thing.

I am grateful that my family, who are all in NY, NJ and Conn. are all okay after Hurricane Sandy. My 83 year old mom with dementia in NJ had some issues, but surprisingly the power came back on in Staten island yesterday and my brother was able to get out and bring her back to safety.ReplyCancel

I am grateful for the idea of taking a pause and thinking of things I am grateful for. It is easy to think of the really big things but I want to focus on the things that I don’t always include. Thank you. What a wonderful idea to be grateful. I am hoping to do this everyday.ReplyCancel

I am grateful for this noodge to think of things that I am grateful for. I go thru my busy life and usually think of the big things but there are so many smaller things that really make life so good so I am planning on thirty days of looking at the big and the small things that make this life soo good

I am grateful today for my 6 year old grandson and his innocent loving spirit. During his birthday celebration on Saturday at a children’s pizza place his presents were stolen from the car trunk. After his initial shock he comforted the rest of us by telling us that the presents weren’t important…that turning six and celebrating was what was important. At that moment I saw the world with the wonder of youth.ReplyCancel

    This is already so wonderful!

Upon waking this morning, I was greeted by the glorious sunlight coming in through our bedroom window. Although it’s quite a cold (and yes, actually frosty) first of November morning, just seeing that sunshine, and feeling its warmth, immediately brightened my first waking moments of the day.

Sunlight – natural Vitamin D. A beautiful way to start any and every day.

Thank you for this, Dreama. And enjoy your day – may it be beautiful and filled with glorious sunlight, too.ReplyCancel

Wow! I’m the first one that gets to be grateful. 😉 I think more than anything, at this time in my life, I am grateful for my sweetie. She puts up with a lot and still sticks around. She doesn’t know a whole lot about creating art, but she does know what she likes and when she sees it in my work, she talls me. Of course, when she sees something she doesn’t like she tells me that, too.ReplyCancel
