Feelin’ the Love

“Concealed beneath familiarity and silence, the earth holds back and it never occurs to us to wonder how the earth sees us.” ~John O’Donohue

Do things reveal themselves to those who have the eyes to see them?  Does the rose open its exquisite possibilities to the eyes that are open and actually seeing?

Beauty is mysterious, a slow presence who waits for the ready, expectant heart.

These flowers sat on a weathered old table at the entrance of a small trattoria in Italy—just waiting.

Seeing ….begins in the heart.

I cannot wait to have this day slow down so I can go savor your March newsletter…glass of wine mandatory! I love this painting Dreama!!!! They feel like geraniums…am I right? I’ve never been able to capture such a feeling in the flowers I paint. I simply can’t wait for the workshop later this year. It really is a nice carrot dangling out there for me! Have a wonderful weekend!

I definitely am feeling the love by treating not just my eyes, but my heart, looking at this beautiful, beautiful, beautiful painting, Dreama. There is so much love and joy and life emanating from it. I see and feel so much beauty, so much joy, and so much love in all your paintings – this one is overflowing with all of those, and more
It has gladdened my heart and my spirit to know that you are enjoying and getting so much from the beautiful writings of John O’Donohue’s wonderful ‘Anam Cara.’ His books inspire me and lift my spirits in so very much the same way that your paintings and your words always do.
Thank you for all that you are, Dreama, the joy that you bring and all the beauty you share with all of us.

Dreama …..THANK YOU! I went to your March letter and was so overwhelmed with the video of pure inspiration. How to live life
without all the pity parties, but, if you do have one, you are human and it is OK as long as you get back on track and live your
life with loving who you are and in return give out that love to enrich someone else’s life…you can choose the dark side or the side
filled with light and at 70 I am going for the light side, filling as many days as I can…..
How fortunate the family and friends that you have around you are….the peace they must feel when they spend their time with you!
Dreama, no wonder your classes are always full…it is just not your talent that the students crave but the sharing of who you are, giving
instead of just taking, caring instead of indifference, You write to inspire, to help bring peace to the minds of those that get to read
what you live….how lucky we all are!
    Thank you, alice
