"Something Borrowed, Something Blue" SOLD

“Something Borrowed, Something Blue”

oil, 6 x 6in canvas panel
This window is in France. I “borrowed” it just long enough to paint it.
Pure and simple. Blue shutters, old stucco, bountiful geraniums in pinks and salmons. And warm sunlight to make it glow. Ahhh, such are the pleasures of life. Pure and simple.

After reading this post, I found I kept coming back to gaze at this painting. I love this open window, and being a francophile, the idea that it’s in France adds je ne sais quoi! I had to have it! Thank you.ReplyCancel
