"Which One Do You Want?"

It’s time to give away something around here.
Like maybe a cat.
Or two.
I even have a phone answering dog I could let go of.
No takers??
How about….mmmm…..let’s see
I guess it’s still too hot to send that.
Well, all that’s left is art.

 My art.

And no, I can’t give away an original.  Are you kidding?  Have you seen how much food Eddie Pierre is carving through these days??
I’ve had to apply for a part-time job to support his 9 Lives habit.
What I am going to do is give away  an 11″ x 11″  fine art giclee’ print:))
You will have to do some work for it though.
First, you must call Eddie Bill every day for a month and tell him how handsome he is (he’s much easier to live with when he’s feeling too sexy for his fur…)
Secondly, I can’t force you—but being such a generous soul, I am sure you will share this post with your best friend so that they too can have a shot at winning their favorite print:))
Third and Last??  You must go here, pick out your favorite print and let me know which one it is by leaving it in the comment section of my blog—how else will I know which one to send you when you win??

Okay, I said that was the last thing, but there’s one more.

Check back this Friday and see who’s won what!

P.S. Last two openings in my Nov/2012 workshop could be meant for you and a friend, click here for details:)

Hi. Thanks for sharing your wonderful exciting and colour filled world. My favourite paintings are the flower ones as they look just right for picking and admiring, especially the one entitled “For the Love of Colour” Looking forward to viewing more of your work. Love the Italy pictures too. Being disabled it is hard to travel so I love the photos, paintings and comments which you share. GwendaReplyCancel

We will definitely have to do this again!!
    Big Hugs!!!

  • Susan Williams - August 25, 2012 - 8:25 am

Dreama, your paintings are so colorful and I love the photos of Bill. I think “Joy” is my favorite. I love your watercolor postcards too, so maybe I will get lucky while you are in Italy.ReplyCancel

  • Antoinette - August 24, 2012 - 8:02 pm

I would absolute LOVE Colors of the heart!!! Please!!!

    Antoinette Hjelte

  • Sherry Speakman - August 24, 2012 - 7:55 pm

Dreama, your paintings are so colorful! I think I love them all but would be hard pressed to pick my favorite! I think “Anything Eddie & Phyllis”! I love their “going native” look, laugh at poor Phyllis’ concerns over her “hat” attire, absolutely love the “did you get the tuna”…..! Anyway, I guess it would have to be the very talented artist’s choice!

  • JJ - August 24, 2012 - 7:51 pm

It’s hard to pick just one, but if I have to, I’ll go with Color Song. It sings to me! Brilliant!ReplyCancel

  • Carla Kaufman - August 24, 2012 - 6:54 pm

Hi Dreama, What a lovely idea – I’ve really enjoyed delving into your dazzling paintings. It’s impossible to choose just one favourite… but “Provence” is so evocative of happy holidays in France that I shall make it my choice – today!ReplyCancel

  • Pat Washington - August 24, 2012 - 4:01 pm

Hi Dreama! I enjoyed looking through your prints. If I win, I’d like a print of “Run Away to France.”

    Please let me win! 🙂ReplyCancel

  • AFirer - August 24, 2012 - 2:50 pm

Love, love , love “Momma’s Best”! Sunflowers have a very special meaning to me and would love to look at this every day as a visual reminder of someone I loved very much who is no longer here.

I love the colors and loose, fluent style of your work! I’m a new fan!

  • Susan B Hecht - August 24, 2012 - 2:48 pm

Oh Pick me! Pick me! (Can you see my hand is raised? :0))

I love all your prints, so it’s hard to pick a favorite. I would like to have the “Pocket Full of Sunshine” print. I think your paintings are so beautiful! I love the colors and brush strokes you use. I am looking forward to taking my first class with you in Lexington in November! I wish I could have signed up for the class in France in 2013! What fun!! And what a treat to find you (via a friend of a friend of a friend via Facebook, LOL!) Gorgeous work – I’m totally a new fan! Sunshine Dreams — the cat in the basket (spittin’ image of a dear one I lost last year to congestive heart failure at the age of 13 [that’s Prin’s age, not mine…. I’m well past that, LOL!] – it’s almost canny!) Thanks for all you do and for sharing it here – will be keeping up with you now! All the best – JanReplyCancel

  • Granny O - August 24, 2012 - 10:34 am

I misread the notice on Facebook and left my comment there. It may be to late to enter here for the drawing, but will leave it anyway. The comment I left on Facebook is as follows: love this print because it reminds me of my Grandmother and my Mother. The wonderful old Blue Jars remind me of my Grandmother because she used them all the time and the Flowers remind me of my Mother because she had a Green Thumb and grew the most beautiful Flowers! I have many olds blue jars that I have repurposed and use to this day. Thank you for sharing a window back to my youth!
The print I would like is the one with the two blue canning jars. Thank you so much, I enjoy your work!

  • Ann Rogers - August 24, 2012 - 9:39 am

This is as difficult as trying to pick a favorite child (out of the 2 I have!). I guess it would have to be, “Oh!” I just love it. And by the way, let the Eddies know they’re always welcome to come vacation here in California, since they’re not included in your offer. I promise I wouldn’t keep them too long…though I might be tempted! They are adorable. I think I could overlook their behavior. Maybe.ReplyCancel

If I had to pick one I would pick Dreama’s Daisies but would be overjoyed with any. As a painter who loves color as much as you do I marvel at your use of color.ReplyCancel

pretty difficult to pick – they’re all so beautiful. I guess French Blue, Eddie’s Chair, or French Poetry…I agree the Scent of Lavender is lovely. They’re all lovely…yes, Pocketful of Sunshine. How can anyone pick? Your colours delight the senses. Always been a dream of my to visit Italy or France. You do it for me. But maybe, just maybe, one day I can actually tag along.ReplyCancel

My choice is “Pocketful of Sunshine”. I selected randomly, knowing it was impossible to make a mistake. Even one of your postcards from France or Italy would find a place of honor in my home. Dreama, you inspire me as an artist with your gorgeous work, delightful writing and adorable titles. Blessings and best wishes to you and yours.ReplyCancel

I don’t know what my pup would do if I started sending smoozie messages a cat. However, i do love Italian Reflected — the colors, the patterns, the–ofcourse–reflections. Lovely. Thanks, Dreama!ReplyCancel

  • June - August 23, 2012 - 5:46 am

But Dreama! They’re all so beautiful that it’s nearly next to impossible to choose a favourite amongst all the favourites I have!

I’ve narrowed it down to four (that’s today’s favourites). I love ‘Home Grown’, but I also adore ‘Heaven S(c)ent.’ And then, of course, there’s ‘A Cup of Goodness’ and ‘Lavender Water’. I think my love of lavenders and blues is telling me to choose ‘Lavender Water.’

Thank you so very much, Dreama, for your generosity, and for sharing with us in all the ways that you do.

My fave today.ReplyCancel
