The Art of Lavender Sitting
There are the ordinary, mundane things of life.
Then…. there are those things that are elevated to the level of art.
If it was worth saying before, it’s probably worth saying again…
I think Lavender Sitting (especially when done under a canopy of roses) is right up there with the big stuff.
What say you?
P.S. Feel free to nestle your toes in the grass, lean your head back on the chair and breathe into the lavender. If you feel something silky falling on your face, it’s probably just a rose petal gliding on the breeze 🙂

The BIG project immersion continues, so I thought it was a good time to rerun some of the most read posts on this blog.
Keep sending those good thoughts and love my way—they are helping me so much to infuse my best on what I am working on!!!
Hugs!
Yep I agree. Lavender sitting is definitely right up there with the ‘big stuff’.
It’s so important to our overall well-being to pause, breathe in the beautiful, aromatic lavender (or the roses, or the tulips, or the bluebells…whichever takes our fancy) and enjoy that moment…and the next one…and the next one after that. And while we’re at it, relax and enjoy a cuppa (tea, coffee, wine…whatever tickles our tastebuds). It’s all good. 🙂
Thanks for re-posting this, Dreama. On such a wet, grey and cold day (and this is August!!!), lavender sitting is just the perfect remedy and antidote for the seemingly never-ending less-than-pleasant non-summer weather we’ve been experiencing for the past couple of months.
