A painting video for you ❤️
Not everyone loves a good watercolor.
But they would if they understood the magic of painting it in their journal.
Which is why I’ve clung fiercely to the idea…to the point of creating an entire course on it (Postcards from Paris) and having it, along with oil painting, as part of my monthly creative membership Flow (which opens April 4 for enrollment)
Every painting is different. I thought you might enjoy the unique experience of seeing how just one of mine comes together.
This is a first for me….sharing one of these video tutorials.

P.S. When in doubt, make something—anything. You will feel better. I’m sure there’s a science behind this, but all we need to know is that it works. Feeling blue? Make something. Future uncertain? Make something. Feeling lost and off-track? Make something. Let me know how it goes—we need each other!

thank you, I took a year with you a while back and really enjoyed it, I have since retired from banking and paint all the time. I mainly do oils but have painted in watercolors while i travel. I do plein air events as well. your videos in journaling really helped me with that, I just got back from Mexico and sold several right off the pad and even gave a few away to grandmothers and one person that had rented a villa from me. It really does bring you joy to share your art. I loved watching this video and may sign up later this year for one of your oil paintings classes. always trying to get looser. thank you for all that you do to help us be more creative.
