Love the “me time” when I’m painting💕
It is hard to describe but I love it when something I wanted to happen comes out as I saw it in my mind, or even better than imagined. Most of the time I visualize and try to paint it as my mind saw it but it turns out looking totally different.
Because I’m using the “squish the tube up” thingy and my paints are dangerously low!!!!! Please!!!! I love ❤️ everyone!!!’n
Love learning painting techniques. I’ve also enjoyed the kindred spirits on the FB group.
The best part is simply the enjoyment of seeing the gorgeous colors and texture of the paint as I apply it to a canvas.
Wheb I stand back and stare, in awe…. asking myself…. now how did that happen!

I love the entire process, the colors, the immersion into mixing and applying the paints. The total escape into the painting!
The best part for me is when it’s time to add the highlights. like on the trees, leaves, roof, sidewalk etc.
I get so excited when I get to that stage.
Feeling the brush in my hand, oil paint in my brush, working on a special project just feels so good and relaxing!!
The best part is playing with the colors and seeing a painting emerge. It feels like creating your own music!

I love my quiet time for painting and looking for any improvement! I always hope to grow even a very little with each painting.Now love all the colors that I have learned to use in the first two classes with Dreama! So much fun!

I love the beginning of the painting and the finished painting best. Sometimes the middle gets really tough and frustrating. I am hoping to learn how to make the middle more fun and enjoyable.

A few hours after you settle down & are actually painting, the surge of creative energy & pure happiness that takes over your heart for a little while. you feel like more free, different person.

Painting is wonderful therapy to release your creative being and with paint, to express your emotions on canvas.

When I begin a painting, during initial the “drawing in” part and through the whole first step of completing the under-color, I’m usually doubtful that I can make anything special happen. But sometime after I start the final stages, there comes a time when something just “clicks” and I begin to see the magic come alive. It’s like fairy dust has just been sprinkled on the canvas. That is always my big “Wow!” or “Aha!” moment and also my most favorite part of the painting process. It slays my heart and gives me that rush of joyful emotion that I’ve never partaken in otherwise. 💌
Learning to push past my fears! And being surprised at what happens.

Can’t describe the relief and freedom from my disability, depression, challenged surroundings, disconnected relationships, etc. that painting provides! Can’t imagine life without painting!
