A Light Dance in the Garden
There are many things to love. Fresh laundry drying in the breeze
moss providing a soft green seat on low stone walls
Sister pots hugging favored flowers under the arms of younger trees
All things brought to life with the dance of the sunlight.
Here’s to the Light!!
Coming to the west coast in May:))–a couple of spots have just opened up in my Whidbey Island, WA workshops in May. Click here to check out the details:)))
Dreama’s Letter coming to your inbox on Saturday, filled with some good inspiration for you—if you’d like to receive it, just click here to subscribe:)
Good Morning Dreama!!! I love the thought that you are putting into the paintings titles; they add so much more to the meaning of the painting.I guess I would call it an inside view from the artist prospective!!! ♡♥♡♥ Nancy
Why do you ask these hard questions before I comment? I had to get out my calculator:) Not really I just used my fingers and one foot to get 5 x three. These robots are tough competition. Anyway- I just wanted to say that A Light Dance is perfectly awesome, so expressive, a delight to the eyes. Thank you for being so you!
Bruce…I am right there with you;)) If it weren’t for spam we could sail right through and leave our shoes on (no need for toe counting to log in…hehe:)
Thanks and thanks. It’s just across the road from where you’ll be staying in France come June:))!!
This is a beauty of a painting, Dreama. It makes me want to go outside right now and look for the light dance in my garden (even though we’re north-facing and don’t see much of that, when it happens, it’s glorious).
Looking at this makes me want to have a go at a sort of light dance, myself. Feeling a lot better and brighter and happier today than I’d been feeling the last couple of days. Your colour-filled and beauty-filled paintins can always bring a smile to my face, pleasure in my day ahead, and lightness in my heart and spirit.
The sun makes everything (and everyone) feel better. Thank you so much for this, Dreama. One of my picks for next year’s calendar, definitely.
June–by the time it gets to March we are all in need of some sunshine for sure!!!! Glad you are feeling more like your beautiful self and thanks for the calendar suggestion. We’ll have to bookmark if for 2014:))
Lovely play of light in that garden, Dreama. I like the title, too.
Meredith–that’s what caught my eye too:)) Love me some dappled light any ole time!
