I love this painting, Dreama. It takes me right back to the time we were in France and Italy, loving every moment, wishing I could stay longer, and even while there, I found myself already dreaming of returning.
I love those musings by DH Lawrence about the difference between nighttime dreamers and daytime dreamers. I think I am more of a daytime dreamer … I see things so much clearer in my daydreams – even though my mind is wandering here, there and everywhere (if that makes any sense!)…daydreaming is, for me, akin to a stream of consciousness. It’s that way with my journalling, too – or, as I sometimes refer to it, journey-aling.
Looking forward to seeing more happy faces on all your happy artists in your workshops in sunny and warm (and most likely, completely snow-less) Florida.:)
