After the Creative Process
art • creativity • god • prayer
What does it mean to you?
Before someone else attached their opinion to it?
When it was still in it’s purest form, just you and the other.
The other being
art • creativity • god • prayer
Clouded and fogged in by all the baggage that sometimes attends words we have grown up with.
Words like:
art • creativity • god • prayer
It maybe makes sense to take a step within
leaving outside
the chaos and conflicts.
Conflicts surrounding words like:
art • creativity • god • prayer
To let your heart define it for you,
In silence.
Laying itself open and bare
So that in life, in living
you might begin to define
for yourself
the undefinable.
art • creativity • god • prayer
Note: I have an opening in my Lexington, Kentucky workshop Oct 4-6, 2014. You can view the details and register by clicking here 🙂
I agree with Carol. Your words today are both heautifully expressed and a deep meditation.
For me, those four words are interchangeable – they are one and the same.
My heart defines art as the outward expression of creative intention, which, in its purest and most honest state, comes from a special place. A still place. A contemplative place. A meditative place. A sacred space. Like prayer. Like God.
When I am in that sacred space, my heart defines those words for me, in that stillness.
Thank you for this, Dreama. Truly beautiful.
