Sunny Monday in France and Edgy Thoughts

It’s all about the edges.  Where leaf meets laundry, blossom meets wall.  What is the shape and how does it meet what is not part of itself?

The edges are what distinguish one thing from another, but if edges are all hard and cut out, things tend to look isolated and not part of the greater whole.
Doesn’t that sound an awful lot like life?  How we meet, how our “edges” mingle or not, how much we become aware that we are all part of this one great atmosphere of love and life?

Edges that “lose” themselves sound an awful lot like love ❤—how we lose ourselves to those we love, finding so much common ground that edges become almost invisible.

In life, as in painting, it helps to look and see where edges can be softened or lost.
It can make for a happy painting.
It can make for a happy life.

Edges define things too quickly , life should be more fluid and left less defined where we can start out in one spot and evolve to another .
This painting has a beautiful feel to it, I wish I was there ,
