Never Just Another Day

exquisite
and filled with more truth and beauty than can be believed.

We are so accustomed to the sun arising each day that we forget we are surrounded with miracles constantly unfolding.

One of my favorite ‘reminder’ quotes from Emerson is this:

If the stars should appear
one night in a thousand years
how would men believe and adore
and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God which had been shown!
But every night come out these envoys of beauty
and light the universe with their admonishing smile.

It’s good to think on these things because, as you know, it’s never ‘just another day’.
This is your life, your day, your hour.
Enjoy it for the miracle that it truly is!
