During the Creative Process

“A Day Unlike Any Other Day”

Today.  It only comes once.
The birds that see me, sing to me, outside my door, will only sing that song, that way, at this particular time …only today.

I will only be the me that I am Today.

Tomorrow’s me, which will only exist when it arrives,  will be a different me.  One who has experienced another day of life divine.
The wind that passes this way today, that has blown over from a nearby field of clover, will only blow this way, at this speed, at this temperature, carrying with it the scent of farm fields miles away, all of this is only for today, in this moment, at this time.
The angle of the sun’s rays, scattered ‘cross the front porch will only be in that precise pattern for just today.  Tomorrow, which will only exist upon it’s arrival, it will all have moved a bit in the solar system.

What I am seeing here and now is just for this present moment.

The food I partake of today is only for today.  Grown from seed, sunshine and rain now in edible form, one unique avocado or green bean can only be exactly that in this moment just for today.
There is so much divinity held within one moment, in this day.
So much beauty and goodness to partake of in this moment, only here, only now.
There will never be another moment exactly like right now.

Today is a day  unlike any other day.

Enjoy:)

Your writing is so expressive just like your paintings. It reminds me of Emily Dickinson’s This Quiet Dust Was Gentlemen And Ladies.
You’ve done your job for the day, you’ve gotten me all choked up and misty eyed! 🙂
    Have a wonderful periwinkle day!
